3 Months

Davis will be three months old on Saturday. I decided I should take some formal pictures of him, since I haven't done that since he was one week old. He did a great job...and Jadee was a big help. It's hard to be the poser and the clicker when one doesn't have a remote!

Davis is a wonderful baby! He already sleeps 8-10 hours at night and has done so for almost three weeks. He is very good natured and smiley. Most recently, he's learned to squeal, hold a toy put in his hand, and he loves to suck his fingers and arms. He only cries when he's tired or hungry, and he's very good at entertaining himself for 10-20 minute periods. What a sweetheart he is!










I'll be working on pictures of him with Jeron later this week. FYI...the nakedness is more than just artsy...I didn't have any matching clothes for them! ;-) I also meant to put cute clothes on Davis for his solos, but he'd had it and we had to pick up Jeron...I'll tell ya...school really crimps our style!

Up the NOSE...

What is with some children and their overwhelming desire to put things up their noses? Jeron never did this...EVER! Jadee put a small marble up her nose last week. I freaked out. Gratefully, we were at my parents' house and my dad was right there to work it out for her. I thought between my freaking out and the painful recovery, she would be done putting things up there. Not so...




We were on our way home from picking Jeron up at school. She had insisted on taking a snack on our 3 minute tour and raisins were the snack of choice. Two blocks from home she announces, "I have a raisin in my nose!" I tried to stay calm, thinking all the while, "I wonder what would happen if she shoved it all the way up into the sinus cavity...or sucked it up there when she snuffs...maybe it could just round the corner and come out the other nostril...?" I got everyone in and went searching for the tweezers. As you can see from the pictures...she wasn't that happy about the tweezers up her nose! After about 5 tries, I was finally able to hold her head between my legs, hold her hands down and grab the edge of the raisin to pull it to safety. Ask her now what will happen if she puts anything else up her nose..."My mom will pank my bum." At least we didn't have to go to the doctor or the ER!

Singing Bee/Don't Forget the Lyrics

Two new and interesting shows that I enjoy watching. However, I now find myself listening to all music in terms of whether or not I know the exact lyrics. Could I win on these shows? Probably not! Who remembered that Garth Brooks sang "And" instead of "Well" in "I've Got Friends in Low Places"? I thought that I knew a lot of music...I'm learning just how little I do! Anyway...just wondering if anyone else out there is watching, playing along and listening to music in a new light?

Smiles!!

Davis started smiling at us about three weeks ago. Of course, they are very frequent now and we can do things that elicit those smiles quite easily. He is such a sweetheart!

Computers...

I have been away for about three weeks...my hard-drive burned up. It has been a real trick to get this little computer up and running again. A friend from our ward was able to retrieve most of our files from the burned up hard-drive, but has yet to put them on the new hard-drive that my uncle was able to get and install for us. The computer has made its rounds during this time and I have not been able to post anything. Hopefully it will all be fixed by tomorrow night and I will be able to catch everyone up! In the famous words of the Terminator...I'll be back!

Who's Who...?

As I've studied Davis this past week, I couldn't help but think how much all of my babies look alike. I decided to confirm my thoughts by comparing baby pictures. They are all definitely my children! I'm interested to know who out there can tell which one is which...? Correct answers will follow soon, as well as more pictures of Davis. I couldn't show too much of him before my little guessing game!
